i never thought about getting married... since i am single.... and i have trust issues on the opposite gender...
 experience thought me to be careful and never trust a man easily..

here it is... my best friend at matriculation college... her name is anis afiza and currently she studies at UMT... huhuhu...
we were in the same practicum but not in the class together.. still, we were close... i really don't know how we can be close but it does... some people even wondered how can we become best friends actually.. we sat next to each other during lectures and it became our permanent seat after that...

she is fun to be with and she was a lot like me... cross my fingers so we can meet again someday....

DAY 3 YOUR IDEA OF A PERFECT DATE

my idea of a perfect d8.. hurmm....
i'm not the type who likes to hang out... and i'm single and wasn't planning to end it... so, i'm having a writer's block right now...
but... if i was going to have one... i will going to have a simple d8 only...
there's no need of a bouquet of flowers... no candlelight dinner...

today, the topic is my favourite movie... i decided to pick Kaiji... Why??? because my favourite actors were in it... tatsuya fujiwara and matsuyama ken'ichi...

the movie is about the art of gambling. it is actually an adaptation from japanese manga series written by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. it is about kaiji ito, who is in huge debt... in a desperation, someone came and offered him a solution... he was asked to aboard a cruise, named Espoir and gambled in order to pay off his debt...

but little did he know that, the gambling organisation is not helping them, but bringing more misery... he had to gamble with other players which were as desperate as he is... he almost won, but he failed because of his kindness (i called it as stupid..) the losers were force to work with them, doing labour works... and thanks to his wittiness, he was able to escape...

it was all about luck when it comes to gamble

but then, he was cheated again to participate in the same horrible game for the second time... this time, it involves the matter of life and death... after struggling for quite a time, he succeeded with a help of a friend... and bla... bla... bla... u get the idea... u have to watch it in order to know the ending..


what intrigued me is the idea of this movie..
they always mentioned about lucky if it involves gamble... but in my view, lucky did play a role but... it is all about trickery... it is all about probabilities... it also involves the art to read people's mind and behaviour... if u understands his or her behaviour, u can know what he or she was thinking, what card he or thev were holding and predict the next moves... there is no such thing as the art of gamble... but the ability to think and be able to calm and composed in a desperate moment...

next, the humanity dissolved when in a state of desperation... people became selfish and willing to do anything to escape from problem and it become worse when it involved money... but in the end, people will value who value them... people will trust who trust them.. people will help who help them... even if it means taking their owns life...

why i love this song???   

probably because of the music video and its meaning...

it is about a man (Lee Joon) who shot his girlfriends after he finds out that she was cheating on him.. Lee Joon played the role so good that it almost looked as if it was real.. he looked a bit psychotic and heartless when he killed his girlfriend.. but in the end, he showed remorse and.... he was crying!!!  OMG!!! he looks cool even when he was crying.. sobs.. he is a really good actor.. 

at first, the music video showed the good memories between Lee Joon and his girlfriend.. however, the woman's face was blurry (i think it was intentional...).. the only thing that was visible is her green fingernails... then, it showed how troubled he is when he finds out the truth... he went to find her, and when they met, she was with another guy.. in the end, Lee Joon shot her when she refused to go with him.... - THE END -

he was one of the character in japanese drama series, Bloody Monday. here is the synopsis...
it was adapted from the manga with the same title, of course... the protagonist, Takagi Fujimaru, a legendary hacker with the name Falcon trying to stop a group of terrorists from destroying Japan...
here is the terrorists' leader... guess who???

thinking of a new world with him as a GOD... a bit crazy...

the terrorists were planning to destroy the citizen by spreading the virus, bloody x...

he was holding the deadly virus, bloody x..

actually they were originated from a religious organization but their founder was caught 2 years ago.. they were trying to achieve their goal to become the GODS of the new world...they were going to blackmail the government to release him in exchange with the anti-virus...

LIE

Hullo...

This is my third entry on my NEW blog (ehem2...) and the second time I discuss about things that linger in my mind after I watched movie or drama series. This time, it is the Japanese drama series, Liar Game. From the title, I am sure you can guess what the drama is about. It is about a game which requires the participants to lie in order to win. A weird and scary game but yet it was interesting. Their goal is to find an ultimate Liar King.

Ironically, the main character is Kanzaki Nao, a young girl which is too honest for her own good. She ends up participating in the game. Panicking, she asked help from Akiyama Shin’ichi, an ex-con and a swindler to help her. What I am deeply interested is Akiyama character. He was a good child and a bright university student until a tragedy struck him. His mother was conned by a multi-level marketing organization.

Desperately, she committed suicide so that Akiyama will get the money from her life insurance. From that moment, Akiyama held grudge and becomes a swindler in order to bring down the organization which cause the death of his mother. As a psychology student, he had an advantage to deceive people as he studied about human’s behaviour. He can read and guess what’s in their mind and manipulate it. TO BE ABLE TO LIE IS A TALENT. I have to agree with this statement as lying is not easy and it requires a high level of thinking

Then, there is Yokoya, a man with the aura of a ruler. He claimed to be psychic but it turns out to be a bluff. He was the manager of the organization which tricked Akiyama’s mother. He enjoyed deceiving people and he never regret for what he did. He held grudge toward Akiyama and Nao after Nao tricked him.

In the end, the story will reveal who is the creator of this scary game. And surely Kanzaki Nao has something to do with the existence of this game.

In this story, we can see that the world is full of corruption and how selfish and ugly people can be when it involved money. Does money really important? Is this the kind of world that we want to live in? Where is the sense of humanity?

RIGHTEOUS THIEF

Hong Gil Dong...

Hong, born an illegitimate child, is not accepted by his father and family. His father, after hearing from a shaman that his son is cursed, attempts to kill him but fails. Shocked and appalled at his father's actions, he goes out into the world, where he becomes a bandit leader. He becomes a bandit for the people, and steals from the rich only to give to the poor. His popularity within the peasant society soars, and many view him as a hero

Both the drama series, Iljimae and the movie that I watched, Descendants of Hong Gil Dong put this element in their plot. In Iljimae, Lee Jun Ki played the main role as Lee Geom; a son who’s his father was framed and killed. He was determined to find the killer of his father without realising that the killer was the King himself. With the only clue that he has, a sword with a character carved on it, he broke into every high-ranked officials to find it. In order to hide what he was searching for, he took some of their fortune and gave it to the poor. The citizen called him the righteous thief. 

As in the Descendants of Hong Gil Dong, a family who is the true descendants of him carry on the task that has been passed from generation to generation. They only steal from a wealthy man who makes money by bribery. Both stories have the capability to make my eyes glued on the screen.

Righteous thief. Is there such a theory? You have a good intention, but the way you do it is wrong. To be frank, I was intrigued by this theory. Can it be done? Will it be consider as a good deed or a wrongdoing? The righteous thief, is he a good guy or a bad one?

Whatever it is, it is still wrong. As a muslim, I knew that, “niat tidak menghalalkan cara”. No matter how unfair society is, or how bad the person is, we just have to use the correct channel  to fix it. If we persevere, we will get what we want. According to the law, the righteous thief is the criminal no matter how good his intention is, or how much people support him.

They act by the name of justice, but what they done does not portraying the justice at all. So, how? Who is the actual bad guy?
